File with the clerk’s office
Appear before the Judge for entry of the order
Issue the subpoena with the clerk’s office
A draft of the petition, order & subpoena will be e-mailed or faxed for your approval prior to filing.
Your office will need to forward the following:
A certified copy of the foreign commission (if required by your court)
NOTE: The attorney seeking to take the deposition must ascertain whether the out of state court requires a foreign commission. If a commission is not required please provide a copy of the applicable state statue.
Two checks payable to:
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County in the amount of $294.00
Metro Clerking, Inc. $350.00
After the subpoena is issued I will forward a copy of the petition, the original subpoena with appropriate amount of copies and the entered order to It’s Your Serve.
